About me

My model of counselling is integrative. This is where several distinct models of counselling and psychotherapy are used together. I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.  I have been in private practice for 12 years, working with adults and teenagers both long and short term. For 5 years I set up and managed a counselling department in a London primary school working with children aged 5 – 11 using a combination of play and art therapy. I have worked for bereavement charities and as a work place counsellor in education working with teachers and support staff. I have also worked with families around various parenting issues.

Counselling offers:

A safe confidential space to talk about your life and anything difficult, confusing, painful or uncomfortable.

It allows you to talk to someone trained to listen and help you improve things.

It is a personal process. Sometimes it’s necessary to talk about painful feelings or difficult changes you may need to make in your life.

It usually takes a number of sessions to make a difference, but on occasions one session can be enough to work through some problems.

I am on the first floor, unfortunately there is no wheelchair access.
